A special request came in late last year for a flamingo brooch. I had attempted a design about 5 years ago & I had always envisaged the standard form of the flamingo - standing with super thin legs and the concern I had was that the acrylic would snap at the point between the legs & body.
Coming up to Valentines Day 2022 I thought it would be nice to have two kissing flamingos so it would create a heart shape between them. So here they are!
Hand assembled & painted on etched areas with a brooch finding on the rear.
